The beautiful thing about private yoga instruction is every class is all about you! It's based on your goals, desires, and how you're feeling at the present moment. Classes can take place at my home studio in Turtle Creek or at your home, work, community center, gym, studio, or park. Here are some class ideas; you can simply pick one, create your own combo, or we can start from scratch and make an "original you" class.

yoga class menu: 1 hour, 15 minutes

  • gentle relaxation: Hatha-based practice with gentle stretching and peaceful poses, ending with a 15-minute meditation. Excellent for gently waking up the body in the morning, or relaxing the body at the end of the day.

  • yoga flowga: Vinyasa-based practice that connects the body to breath in a series of flowing poses, including sun salutations. Learn to go with the 'flowga' of yoga & life.

  • life yoga: Incorporate yoga as you're "on the go" in your daily life - at home or work, in cars or planes, playing sports, even while grocery shopping and cooking.

  • yoga for back care: Gentle, therapeutic poses to help strengthen lower and upper-back muscles, re-align posture, and ensure proper movement.

  • yoga for artists & writers: Invigorating flow of postures that open the body and clear the mind to allow space for creativity. Practice begins with a clear intention and ends with 20 minutes of journal writing, painting, or drawing.

  • restorative & meditation: Guided awareness of the body through breath, imagery, and simple poses to open the heart and mind. Rooted in principles of yoga nidra ("yogic sleep")

  • extra yummy bonuses: Massage while in restorative poses, use of essential oils & aromatherapy, reflexology, and chakra (energetic) balancing.
